A low-cost guitar amp

I have made some cover with only using my guitar, cables, and open source software such as Guitarix virtual amp and Audacity on my Linux machine. With a little bit effort and no need to big some money to make your own home studio recording. Today, with the increasing of technology in hardware and software, and of course the Internet, we can make our own music studio in your home or even in your room and start to ROCK. 😀
Back in the old days, if we wanted to record music at home, we got an electric guitar and an amp to produce the sound, some effect pedals to customize the sound, and a multi-track recorder such as a 4-track or 8-track recorder. We should plug the cable guitar into the effects pedals, and the pedals into the amp, and then the amp into the recorder device.
That was the classic way, and it endures today because it’s powerful, raw, flexible, and all-around beautiful. Modern technology, however, has provided musicians with more options, like using Linux as the entire toolchain beyond the guitar.
Here I give you a test while I recorded using Guitarix as a virtual amp and Audacity as an audio recorder.
